In this meetup we will discuss a few exciting new features coming in DHIS2 version 42 - the global shell, the command palette, and (available now) App Hub version changelogs!
- Global Shell - the global shell introduces, for the first time ever, a truly global interface for all users of a DHIS2 system, no matter which app they are using. Learn what this means for developers, system implementers, and end users alike, and find out how you can prepare your web applications for use with the globa shell in v42!
- Command Palette - as part of the new global shell, DHIS2’s application menu is getting an update - it is now a full-featured command palette which supports not only navigating to different apps but also shortcuts within apps and (soon) custom commands available from anywhere within DHIS2. Learn how your apps can expose shortcuts at the meetup this month.
- App Hub Changelogs - we have recently made some improvements to the DHIS2 app hub, adding support for version changelogs and more. Learn how you can share what’s new in each version of your app!
