As part of the DHIS2 Climate and Health project, being implemented by the University of Oslo, Saudigitus is holding a two-day workshop, 13th and 14th May, in Maputo, called information systems and data digitalization within the scope of the impact of climate change.
The aim of the workshop is to share experiences on aspects linked to the establishment and management of information systems within the scope of the impact of climate change and is attended by different organizations, among them, the National Institute of Health (INS), the National Institute of Meteorology, the Faculty of Science/Eduardo Mondlane University, University of Malawi and the online participation of United Purpose.
On this first day, the workshop is oriented towards a joint reflection on climate change, its impact on health and the digitalization of climate data.
Tomorrow, the event continues with more presentations from the organizations present around the use of climate data to develop case prediction models, including how DHIS2 can be a sustainable solution for establishing climate data information systems.
